Due to important security updates, we need to temporarily close access to the login nodes while they are being updated and rebooted. We are also performing a rolling update of the compute nodes, during which interactive access to compute nodes will be unavailable.
Running batch jobs will continue to run normally and are not affected. Only new logins and interactive access are temporarily unavailable during the maintenance. Job submission can also be a bit slower due to nodes updating.
We are working to complete the updates as quickly as possible and will notify you once normal access has been restored.

As mentioned previously, we still do not have updated packages for the current security issue affecting our Linux installation on COSMOS. The packages are currently being tested by the OS provider, but have not yet been made available.
Because this is a severe security issue, we cannot reopen the login nodes until the updated packages can be installed. There are currently no available workarounds.
We will reopen the login nodes as soon as possible.
