Storage system malfunction

During the last days the storage system on sigrid has malfunctioned. This resulted in damage to the /disk/global filesystem. The filesystem has been repaired, but unfortunatley there seems to have been some dataloss. We are working on placing links (lost+found) to files found during the recovery process in the user directory in the /disk/global filesystem.

Please note that even if we take every precaution to preserve userdata, such as using redundant disk systems, Lunarc does not provide any form of backup on the provided filesystems. To avoid dataloss users should make sure that important data is duplicated on other systems.
