Cooling System Down
The cooling system at the computer centre has unexpectedly stopped working and the Lunarc systems have been powered off.
Currently people at LDC are trying to put the cooling system back on line. In the meantime the nodes of the Lunarc clusters are powered off to prevent generation of excessive heat. If this is not enough, the servers will also be shut down.
Jobs running on the clusters have been stopped, but they may restart automatically when the nodes are powered up again. In that case it will be as if a job had been submitted again. In other words, jobs starting from a break point will continue from that or a later break point. Other jobs will start from the top.
